Amanda Seales in Death of the Diva
Notable Pop Culture Critic/DJ/ Art Enthusiast, Amanda Seales, proudly presents Death Of The Diva: A One Woman Musical Narrative at The Helen Mills Theater located 135 W. 26th Street, NY, NY
Death of a Diva’s first run will be at the Helen Mills Theater March 23-25 and March 30-April 1. Tickets are available for purchase ($20.00 for students & senior citizens; $30.00 for General Admission) at www.deathofthediva.com or deathofthediva.ticketbud.com/deathofthediva
The musical narrative written by Seales and directed & choreographed by Roger C. Jeffrey, challenges pop culture’s portrayal of women, one unique and colorful character at a time. Combing melody, monologue and her own blend of humor and intellect, Seales uses the show to combat the demeaning and degrading images of women that are overwhelmingly present in today’s media. The show calls out the cause and effects of the influx or negative images of women in the media and gives rise to restoring the balance.
